Welcome to Worship led by JOHN Williams

(not Joanne – please excuses confusion)

We extend a warm welcome to all and pray that all who worship here today will find our Lord’s presence. Following the ‘Prayer for Today’ we will remain silent for a few moments until the Shepherd window is lit and then we will sing the Introit.

PRAYER FOR TODAY Holy God, as we prepare for worship, we are conscious of our unworthiness and of the rush and bustle around us.  We find it hard to be quiet in your presence.  It’s as if we want to drown you out. Touch us with that healing, renewing transforming Spirit we see revealed in Jesus.  May our lives be remade by your presence. Amen

INTROIT:      Abba Father, let me be Yours and Yours alone,

May my will for ever be evermore Your own

Never let my heart grow cold, never let me go,

Abba Father, let me be Yours and Yours alone.

NEXT WEEK 24th November, Karen Woollard will lead Worship including HOLY COMMUNION, not Revd Susan Holden as previously listed

CHRISTMAS SHOE BOXES – 110 shoeboxes have been packed with gifts for Bulgaria and 10 to go to a local women’s refuge. £370 was raised, from the coffee morning and donations, for House of Opportunity who will transport the boxes and distribute them. The boxes will be collected tomorrow. Many thanks to all who have generously helped with this project in any way.

Penelope will be putting our CHRISTMAS TREE etc in church the first week in December. From then you are invited to put gifts for the Foodbank into the crib.

The children will again be making a large CHRISTMAS CARD for us to write greetings to the rest of our church family. There will also, as usual, be a collection box for Shelter. The idea being that sending greetings in a communal card saves us money – which we can give to Shelter (or more if you like!)

SUSTAINABLE WARMINSTER are hosting an Energy advice tea party, at the Civic Centre, on 23 November 2-4p.m. Free entry, coffee/tea and cakes.

COFFEE MORNING list for 2025 is available on the notice board in the foyer. If you would like to book a month for your charity, please fill in the relevant details.  Any queries see Joan

ZOOM BIBLE STUDY is every 2 weeks see Marion Hornby for details and dates Every Wednesday 10.30 a.m. at Coffee #1 for a friendly get together – anyone is welcome.

WARMINSTER CHRISTMAS MARKET on Saturday 30th November. Churches Together in Warminster will be running 2 stalls - one during the afternoon for children to decorate boxes which will be prepared with gifts for hospitalized children at Christmas and one during the early evening outside St Lawrence's Chapel for hot drinks and Christian Cheer. If you could help at either stall please speak to Karen, or just turn up

Please take this sheet away with you.
