 Welcome to worship, including Holy Communion

We extend a warm welcome to all who worship here today and pray you will find our Lord’s presence. Following the Prayer for today, we will remain silent for a few moments until the Shepherd window is lit and then we will sing the Introit.

 

OPENING PRAYER Heavenly Father, we thank you for this new day and for the opportunity to gather in your presence. As we worship you, fill us with your Spirit and help us to reflect your love in all that we do. In Jesus' name, Amen.

 

INTROIT:       Jesus stand among us at the meeting of our lives,

                     Be our sweet agreement at the meeting of our eyes;

                     Oh Jesus, we love You, so we gather here,

                     Join our hearts in unity and take away our fear.                   

 

There will be a CHURCH MEETING at the end of today’s service after which COFFEE AND TEA will be served, please stay for refreshments and further fellowship

 

CRAFT & CHATTER meetings this Monday, 28th July 2 p.m.

31st: Revd Craig Manley will lead a SECTOR SERVICE AT OUR CHURCH.

 

The next COFFEE MORNING will be on Saturday August 9th and is for CORNERSTONES, a local charity to help relieve poverty and distress amongst the people of Warminster. This is being run by Karen and Geoff Samways from the charity. Please let Karen know of offers of cakes etc, and help.

 

Churches together in Warminster are running an AFTERNOON OF ACTIVITIES, in Jubilee Gardens, FOR FAMILIES WITH PRIMARY SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN on Wednesday 13th August from 1-4pm. They are hiring a bouncy castle and face-painter and will run some craft activities, bring along some games and serve refreshments - all free. They hope that Christians will come along and chat with families and make them feel welcome. If you would like to be involved in this please speak to Karen

 

There will be no ZOOM BIBLE STUDY until September

 

The collection box for items for CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES is in the foyer with list of things that go in the boxes. It’s never too early to start donating items!

 

A FRIENDLY GROUP meet in Coffee #1 on Wednesday mornings at 10.30 a.m. for coffee and a chat. Anyone is welcome
