Welcome to worship led by Karen Woollard

We extend a warm welcome to all who worship here today and pray you will find our Lord’s presence. Following the ‘Prayer for Today’ we will remain silent for a few moments until the Shepherd window is lit and then we will sing the Introit.

 

PRAYER FOR TODAY “Almighty Father, as we walk with Jesus through these days of Lent, show us how to know Him more nearly and love Him more dearly each dayAmen

 

INTROIT:    Be still for the presence of the Lord, the Holy One is here;

               Come bow before Him now with reverence and fear:

               In Him no sin is found – we stand on holy ground.

               Be still, for the presence of the Lord, the Holy One is here.         

 

Coffee and tea will be served in the Foyer after the service. All are invited to stay for this time of fellowship

 

NEXT SUNDAY 16th   MARCH 10.30 am     Worship including HOLY COMMUNION led by Revd Craig Manley – this will also include a Church meeting where we can learn more about the changes within the Area which will affect our church

                             30th                 SECTOR SERVICE AT CORSHAM – there may also be a service at our church – look out for further information.    

 

Tuesday 11th – Reminder to Pastoral visitors that there is a meeting, with Revd Craig, at 10.30 a.m. for Pastoral visitors.

CRAFT & CHATTER 17th 3&1st March 2 p.m. Bring along any type of craft project and enjoy a pleasant chat.

A friendly group meet in Coffee #1 on Wednesday mornings at 10.30 a.m. for coffee and a chat. Anyone is welcome
