Welcome to Worship including Holy Communion led by Karen Woollard

We extend a warm welcome to all and pray that all who worship here today will find our Lord’s presence. Following the ‘Prayer for Today’ we will remain silent for a few moments until the Shepherd window is lit and then we will sing the Introit.

PRAYER FOR TODAY Lord, help us not to be trapped in the familiar that we fail to notice your surprises.  Show us how to reach beyond our expectations, whether it is here in this time of worship, in fellowship within our Christian Family, or in the ordinary routines of everyday life. In all things may we follow our Lord Jesus Christ, and live and worship through the Spirit. Amen

INTROIT:  Abba Father, let me be Yours and Yours alone,

May my will for ever be evermore Your own

Never let my heart grow cold, never let me go,

Abba Father, let me be Yours and Yours alone.

Penelope will be putting our CHRISTMAS TREE etc in church the first week in December. From then you are invited to put gifts for the Foodbank into the crib.

The children will again be making a large CHRISTMAS CARD for us to write greetings in to the rest of our church family. There will also, as usual, be a collection box for Shelter. The idea being that sending greetings in a communal card saves us money – which we can give to Shelter (or more if you like!)

CRAFT AND CHATTER: Monday 25th November 2 pm.
